Hair accessories are a fun and cute way to show your creative side, all while serving a purpose, so double win! I really enjoy Halloween and like to start celebrating the season a little early with my accessories. (Although I am not against wearing something with skulls 365 days a year.)
I have several necklaces, earrings and bracelets to show my Halloween spirit, but my hair accessory game was lacking. I’m going to have to remedy that quick.
Here are six spooky hair accessories to show off your Halloween spirit.
Halloween is a great time to expand your hair styling skills and try out a few different looks you might not wear on a day-to-day basis. Maybe you will wear these looks day-to-day — what do I know? Either way, Halloween is a great time to expand a little and have some fun!

Have you ever wondered if you should go for a change in style by choosing to cut your bangs? Styles are always changing – and for Fall 2015 – things seem to be leaning on a longer, fuller bang that is sometimes parted in the middle. But how do you know what is right for you? So many choices to consider: blunt, arched, heavy, wispy, short, long, side-swept, or parted.
First, you need to determine your face shape. Oval faces are able to do pretty much any type of bang style. A rounder face will need a little length added, so you would really only want a side-swept bang, a very wispy bang, or possibly a very short, blunt bang. For an long or rectangular face, you would want to consider a longer, blunt, heavy bang to help shorten the face shape.
Now “measure” your forehead using your index, middle, and ring finger. To do this, place your fingers at your hairline. If your ring finger lines up with the top of your brow, than you are able to go with or without bangs, it is your choice. If you measure less than or more than 3 fingers, you may want to consider bangs as an option. A higher or shorter forehead can be concealed by a stylish bang.
For those of you with longer hair who want to try some bangs without committing all the way, try to cut a longer bang starting at the cheekbone. It highlights the eyes anytime you create a weight line around the eye/cheekbone area.
No matter what is on trend for Fall, just remember, have fun with your hair. In the end, it all comes down to what you are comfortable with. The great thing about hair is that it grows – and you can always change it!
As I mentioned before, hair accessories are going to be big this fall, and if I’m being honest that kinda scares me. Not because I don’t like hair accessories, because I do, but because I’m not 100 percent sure how to exactly wear a hair accessory without looking silly. I have really thin hair, and I always feel like an accessory accentuates that. I’m sure it’s all in my head.
In an effort to combat my weird anxiety towards hair accessories, I went on a quest to find some cute options that are budget friendly and was pleasantly surprised.

They can be sporty and casual or high-fashion and sleek, depending on how you style it. But, what if your ponytail just isn’t the length you want? Don’t worry, there’s a pretty easy way to make your ponytail look longer!

Today, there are so many resources for us to find inspiration for our hair. The Internet, more specifically sites like Pinterest, are filled with beautiful color, cut, and style options.
